Which Cat Breed To Choose For Your Child

You decided to buy a kitten for your child, and looking for the answer to the question "which cat will be best suited for a child"? I will have to disappoint you, you will not find an unequivocal answer to this question. The most tender and affectionate cat can turn into a lion if it is treated inappropriately.

Which cat breed to choose for a child - the most affectionate and faithful, the one that will not hurt your child, will not fight back. The one that will obediently bear all the pranks of your child. So what kind of breed is it?

The best cat breed for a child:
The most faithful and affectionate cat is a homeless cat. It will never show aggression, will never bite the hand that feeds.

But if you decide to pick up a homeless kitten, make sure that you bring it to a veterinarian before bringing it home to your child.

Asian Shorthair - very fond of playing with children. Your child will never be bored with this cat. In addition the Asian Shorthair cats are very intelligent, they will easily get accustomed to your home rules and order, they won't give you much trouble.

American Curl - eternal kittens, even at old age these cats are still just a little merry kittens. They excellently get along with the children, love to play games, and even simply provide company to your child by sitting at his\hers side. American Curl cats are intolerable to loneliness.

British Longhaired - can be safely left alone with a child, even with an infant. They adore children. Despite the fact that they have long fur, it never molts or sheds, which is very important with a baby in the house.

Burmese - nanny cat. They are laconic and patient. So you can safely leave your child with them, the nurse cat will play and look after them.

Napoleon - miniature cats. They can be swaddled and carried around like infants. They will never fight back or hurt your child. These cats are probably children's best friends.

Ragdoll - most trusting and gentle cats, despite their size. Will not only entertain your children with games, but will also guard them. Ragdoll cats don't endure quarrels and abuse, so it is better not to yell at your child in their presence.

Snowshoe - absolutely not afraid of water, and can entertain your child during bathing. In addition these cats have an amazing ability to extinguish any scandal that is inflaming. So your home will always be a quite and peaceful place.

Scottish fold - get along very well with children. Not very playful, but very athletic. If your child does exercises in the morning, or is into yoga - expect to see Scottish fold cat on the rug, right next to your child, in a meditation posture.

Javanese - irreplaceable friends and companions for any child.

Asian Smoke - adores children, knowing that they are the best partners for active games. Smart enough to learn the house rules. But due to their restlessness and mobility, they can accidentally knock off a vase or a bedside lamp while playing with your child. Be ready for that.

Toy Bobtail - miniature toy cat. Because of their size they simply cannot stand up for themselves. They certainly will not hurt your child, however, you should protect Toy Bobtail cat from the kids.

Persian - not afraid of children at all. Can sit near the child for hours, and guard him\her from afar for the rest of the day. But unfortunately Persian cats are not very suitable for active and mobile children.
