PERSIAN CAT, THE PERFECT PET
Persian cat - one of the most popular and demanded breeds in the world.
The reason Persian cats are so popular - more then 130 years of selective breeding. This means that the breed is so polished that you won't find anything worth complaining about. Much has been achieved in improving its appearance, as a result these cats look incredibly charming with their huge wide open eyes.

Persian cats are the embodiment of the ideal pet - a "creation" of a man, that has won the hearts of many people in the world, because of a calm, docile, affectionate and gentle nature.
If you compare them to other breeds, Persian cats are the most domestic. They absolutely can't live outside. In general, cats of this breed have a very gentle nature and they trust humans completely and undoubtedly. But they usually choose their "object of love" on their own, whom they respect.
Character:
Persian cats have very calm character. You will rarely hear them meow. If they require your attention, they wont "howl", but instead will sit quietly gazing into the owners face. They might follow you around the house like a shadow. Persian cats bond well with children.
Despite the fact that the Persian cats are considered a "couch cat", they can be quite mobile and active, but only when you play with them. They rarely fool around on their own, but may occasionally chase a fly or a bee that accidentally made its way into the house. And even an adult cats will chase the toys with enthusiasm.
Persian cats are peculiar charms and guardian angels for their owners.
They will protect you from adversities, in their own feline ways. Help cure a lot of illnesses, but will ask for attention in return. These cats can hardly survive without humans. And it is not because of the care for their coat (it is difficult for Persian cats to maintain their hair in a "healthy" state on their own), it is because they feel that their only purpose is to surround the people around them with love and affection, and be loved in return.
Health:
Despite the sophisticated nature and appearance, Persian cats are very strong and healthy.
According to "The Sun" newspaper, a Persian cat spent three weeks in the rubble of the World Trade Center in New York. Its owner later said that "It is hard to believe, a miracle no less. My cat has lost nearly 0.8 kg of weight, her eyes were slightly damaged and the paws were burned, but overall it was okay and recovered quickly".
