Initially Exotic Shorthair cats inherited gentle and sociable temperament from Persians. But in years to come, they have been crossed with other shorthair breeds and now they have become more cheerful and curious, in contrast to their long-haired relatives.

Exotics have lightweight and unobtrusive character, allowing them to settle down in your home regardless of their age. A further significant advantage of exotic shorthair cats - they are very playful, these cats will bring you a lot of joy.

Modern exotic shorthair - is the embodiment of tenderness and immediacy. They are unobtrusive in conversation, but at the same time ready to play with you upon your first request.

Exotic Shorthair are great companions, it seems that they took the best features from Persians - kindness and tenderness. They are very smart and easy to educate, able to grasp everything on the fly. As for their ability to be nimble and inventive - that was inherited from American Shorthair cats.

These amazing cats get along well with people, as well as with other animals. It seems that these cats have a sixth sense and can feel your mood. Able to support and cheer up sick people, but not being annoying at the same time, simply expressing their sympathy.

Appearance:

Exotic Shorthair resembles a plush toy. Because of the wide-set eyes on a massive round head, combined with a small nose, they create the impression of children's face.
