I think any cat owner will say that the most beautiful cat is the one that lives in their house. And he\she would be right. Everyone knows, that the most affectionate, handsome, kind and intelligent child is your own child. And it is hard to argue that. But nevertheless, what are the most beautiful cat breeds?

Top 10 of the most beautiful cat breeds.

Thai cat - queen among cats. Charming, gentle, intelligent and faithful creatures. Cats with a very good health, with proper nutrition and care can live up to 25 years.

Norwegian forest cat - semi-long-haired, large, strong and enduring. Outwardly similar to Maine Coon.

Their fur has a special texture, it never gets tangled or forms combs. And considering that they are very neat and take extensive care of their fur - Norwegian forest cats always look charming.

Maine Coon - cat breed that ends up on pretty much every "top cat" rating chart. They are the largest, and most affectionate, and most popular cat breed. And also this is a breed with the longest life expectancy.

Ragdoll - the most gullible, affectionate domestic cats. They are, as well as Maine Coons, occupy highest places on almost every cat breed rating: they are the most affectionate, the kindest and the largest.

Ragamuffin - always following Ragdolls on most of the cat ratings, and rightfully occupy highest ranks. They are very similar to Ragdolls, both in character and outwardly (some say that Ragamuffins are a crossing of Ragdoll and a breedless cat). Ragamuffins don't know how to hunt, and are an excellent choice for people who want to be surrounded by peace and beauty.

Selkirk Rex - affectionate charming cat in sheep's skin. Cats of extraordinary appearance, they will charm you at first glance. It is very difficult to resist the temptation to get yourself such a cute kitty.

Sphynx - more of a "magical statue" than a cat. They are the embodiment of the best that man and nature can offer. There are three types of Sphinx cats: St. Petersburg, Don and the Canadian Sphynx.

Persian chinchilla - the most beautiful breed of cats, with bright blue (sometimes green) eyes, which are outlined by a dark rim, with a charming spout. Simply a cat-fashionista.

Neva Masquerade - agile and fearless cats. A Siberian-family cat with Siamese coat color. Most notable for their attachment to the owner and long life expectancy.

Napoleon - Dwarf cats that look like miniature Ragdolls. These are probably the most sociable cats, easily approachable, get along with everyone, and absolutely non conflicting. But Napoleon cats are terrible survivors, and will not last long in the wild, so make sure that you take a good care of them.

I deliberately didn't sort the breeds by their placement in the rating when making this list. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some like longhaired breeds, and some prefer bald cats. But one thing is for sure, these are the most beautiful cats out there, with added bonus - most of them have a good health and life expectancy.
