Can Your Cat Heal You?

 

It has long been know that cats can heal people. How does it happen? The fact is, most health problems occur because of weakened immune system (i.e. the human body doesn't have enough strength to overcome the illness). And what does any of it has to do with cats, you might ask.

Well there is a scientifically proven healing capabilities of cat's purr, but this is a different case.

The answer is simple - cats are the "wells" of positive energy, and they are attracted to negative energy, and can neutralize it. And that is how cats can easily find your problematic area, a sore spot.

From personal experience: 

I have recently broken my right arm. After the cast was removed I decided to spend some time in a summer house. While bathing in a sun on the cot I was visited by a guest - a stray cat. It approached me, and without an invitation or a hint of fear jumped on the cot and lay down on the recovering arm.

Might be a coincidence, but paradox lies in the fact that for the rest of the day the cat has been following me, always preferring to lay down on the recovering arm, no matter how uncomfortable it has been for the cat.

Naturally, I later thanked my "healer" with a nice large meal.

Can all cats heal people?

Pretty much any cat can heal. But there are always exceptions to the rules. Any cat subtly feels negative energy, but not all cats will rush to treat you. Just like with humans, not everyone is an altruist, and some think that the problem will be solved without their participation.

How do cats heal people?

Cat has to decide to approach you on its own. Calling them or forcing will not work, a cat might respond to your call and even lie down, but most likely will immediately go back to minding its own business.

Thing is, cats can not only feel the negative energy, but also its quantity. And as per rule of "everything should be taken in moderation", cats prefer to moderate their exposure to the energy, excessive - is going to be a detriment. So if a cat decides to help you with you pain, let it do it, but do not try and hold it against its will. He has taken what he could, the rest can wait for another session.

Which cat breeds can heal people?

Breed and sex of a cat have no effect on their healing capabilities. But there is an opinion that black cats have stronger healing properties. But I think this belief is based on the stories about witches that were always accompanied by black cats.
